The Town of Lunenburg’s Tri-Board Meetings have brought together the Select Board, Finance Committee, and School Committee early in the budget season for preliminary discussions regarding the development of the FY27 operating budget.
The Tri-Board Meetings were established in response to prior-year budgetary challenges and to improve transparency, communication, and consensus across these stakeholder bodies as the budget takes shape.
Over the past six months, the Tri-Board has heard from Town and School departments on their FY27 budget requests and their projections for future years. At the last Tri-Board meeting, the preliminary revenue projection was also discussed.
Having heard from Departments on their budgets, the Tri-Board is ready to hear initial feedback from you!
Residents are encouraged to join the next Tri-Board meeting on January 27th to provide preliminary feedback. Your opinions will assist in the development of the budget as we move toward Annual Town Meeting in May!
